It was a good day at Garage 51 for us that afternoon

The crowd builds up from the moment Garage 51 opens from business at 11am. They open till 11pm at night, but do come early if you plan to have lunch there. Folks come here for their breakfast, brunch and even lunch to tea time, basically all hours of the day. It's a good thing Garage 51 serves some really nice noms too on top of their wonderful drinks. 

Part of “Garage Messed Up Family” Series drinks, The Father  - RM18.90

Garage 51 introduced their “Garage Messed Up Family” Series drinks, which looks as awesome as they taste. I was told these drinks are a hit in Australia, and now that it has come to Malaysia, we get to taste it locally. Basically these are giant milk shakes, with lots of condiments thrown in, and they look super pretty in pictures. 

You know you need one now

The crowd favourite, The Father #GarageMessedUpFamily is a big jug of chocolate with peanut butter, topped with lots of cream, caramel popcorn, marshmallows, chocolate biscuits and further drenched in chocolate sauce. Don't count your calories when you take this, and let that deep chocolatey taste hit you the moment you try it. Recommended. 

The Mother - RM18.90

Green tea lovers will do well to choose The Mother. The iced green tea is topped with oreo biscuits crunchy love letter biscuits, whipped cream and some crunchy chocolate cereal pop. Really good, albeit a tad sweet. But of course, when you order one of #GarageMessedUpFamily, be prepared to indulge in very rich, sweet pleasure. 

The Daughter - RM18.90

First we had the Father and Mother. Naturally we will go for the Daughter next. Garage 51's "The Daughter" milk shake has a tropical vibe to the whole presentation and taste. The drink itself has a coconut base which is milky sweet. But what got me intrigued is the cute "coconut tree" which is made from love letter biscuits with parsley. Crushed biscuits and raisins are sprinkled on the top. Good stuff, but bear in mind this is coconut, not vanilla, so do not order wrongly and expect vanilla milkshake instead. 

The Son - RM18.90

"The Son" from #GarageMessedUpFamily has got to be the most elaborate one among the four. It takes from "The Father" looking almost similar yet different. This drink has a lighter consistency, sweeter, and filled with lots of Nutella. The Son is topped with pretzel biscuit, caramel popcorn, marshmallow and drizzles of chocolate sauce for that sinful pleasure.
