Mission Foods Malaysia Latest Addition - Mission 6-Grain Wrap

Mission Foods, the brand that is synonymous with healthy wraps in Malaysia, has launched their latest addition, the Mission 6-Grain Wrap.  I was at their introduction event the other day at The Daily Habit Cafe, Bangsar Shopping Centre to know more. The grainier and nuttier texture to the new wraps comes from the superfood combination of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, oats, rye, linseeds and wholemeal brans.

Countless research has shown that grains add fibre to the diet which help in the slow release of sugar so there are no sudden hunger pangs or cravings which lead to binge eating. The grains in the new 6-Grain Wrap are is a good source of fibre, antioxidants, vitamin B and minerals, which contribute to overall health and well-being. Fibres are especially effective in boosting immunity, reducing cholesterol and the risk of heart diseases. Mission 6-Grain Wrap is the wrap of choice for those seeking healthier alternatives to regular white bread or rice, at breakfast or at any time of the day.

In Malaysia, Mission Foods is teaming up with healthy-eating advocate Marissa Parry, the Health and Wellness Director of PurelyB.  Marissa shared insights on mindful eating and the role it plays in changing habits. She shared a hunger scale formula to help understand when its best to eat, and when to stop eating.  Marissa also shared two easy recipes for breakfast using Mission 6-Grain Wrap, Eggplant and  Tempe Wrap and Peanut Butter Banana Wrap.

“Eating healthy for most people is a change in lifestyle. It may appear daunting but its actually easy to eat healthy, we just need to be more mindful in our basic choices, to take in more fibre than processed food for instance. Like any change in lifestyle, take it one step at a time,” advised Marissa.
