There I was at the very beautiful Pullman Hotel in Putrajaya to attend the Korean Apps Wave & Muhibbah Apps Talent Malaysia 2015 seminar last week. Top Korean mobile app professionals launched their apps in Malaysia as part of the regional Korean Apps Wave event series.

Attending the event for 2 days in a row, the first day was more of an introduction to the Korea and Malaysia app economy outlook, how it's marketed and developers preview of their apps while the second The 2nd day entails the visit from the Korean ambassador as well as MDec top guns to witness a signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UbiNuri Inc., My Appszil Asia Sdn Bhd and Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) Sdn Bhd. in order to collaborate on the promotion and localization of Malaysian apps in Korea.

Yes, there were Malaysian apps showcased too at the conference.

Day 2 was similar to the first day, except it took on a more formal note. No more seminar speakers, more of a launch and press conference. The top mobile apps from Korea and Malaysia with presentations by each of the app developers were still done though, with the booths opened outside showcasing each app. The app developers shared on their success strategies and lessons they learnt in the process.
