Entering the cafe was eye opening to say the least. The amount of cuteness and fluff with unicorn themed decor all around. Perfect for those who are into these cutesy fantasy stuff. Its good to note the food matches the theme too, bright and vibrant, and sweet.

We kicked off our meal with an appetizer in the form of their House Salad and the House Spaghetti. Served with sesame sauce, seaweed, ebiko, carrot, turnip, boiled egg and peanut powder, the house salad is indeed a healthy choice for the health conscious. The House Spaghetti, served with delicious house sauce, peanut, seaweed, carrot, cucumber and boiled egg had a nice flavour to it.

Cheese Chicken Baked Bolognese Spaghetti - RM12.90

Savoury Cheese Chicken Baked Bolognese Spaghetti for the pasta lovers, we had lots of minced chicken with melted cheese on top for this dish. Not a very big fan of bolognese spaghettis, but my foodie friends did mention this was a tasty treat.

Nutella Peanut Toast - RM12.90
Nutella Peanut Toast - RM12.90

One of WichDay Cafe's signature dishes would be their Butter Toast Series. We kicked off with the delectable Nutella Peanut Toast, served with vanilla ice cream on top and the yummy chocolate sauce drizzled all over. I like the fact real peanuts were used, as I'm a nut lover.

Mr Simple - RM10.90

More from their butter toast series, would be the Cheesy Garlic Toast and Mr Simple. A newly introduced toast, and aptly named Mr Simple, this seemingly simple buttered sugar toast is served with vanilla ice cream and sweet condensed milk. All their toasts are fluffy on the inside, really good stuff. If you like having garlic toasts then do go for their Cheesy Garlic Toast drizzled with various types of melted cheese.

My first time feasting on a toast box, and it turned out to be a very pleasant experience. WichDay's Pandora Box is this delicious butter toast box served with strawberry chocolate ice cream, marshmallows and fruits. Split it open, and you have these mini toast cubes coated with a light layer of plum jam. Awesome stuff.

If you're in the mood to create your own Pandora Box, then go for the My Pandora Box choice on the menu. Be creative, build your own delicious toast box served with strawberry Chocolate ice creams, marshmallows, fruits and macaroon.

JR Greenie (Green tea pancake) - RM12.90

Two mini pancake dishes, almost similar, yet vastly different. Introducing the Jr Greenie (Green tea pancake) and Mr Yellow (Banana Pancake), served on a plate looking real pretty. The Jr Greenie (Green tea pancake) came with  red bean and green tea ice cream, while Mr Yellow had banana and vanilla ice cream placed on top.

Miss Pinky (Rose Pancake) - RM11.90
Miss Pinky (Rose Pancake) - RM11.90

Personally out of the three mini pancake offerings, I would go for Miss Pinky (Rose Pancake), the lychee strawberry and raspberry ice cream made all the difference. All the three variants of pancakes had a fluffy texture to it, with a sweet taste going well with the fruits that matches its theme.

At WichDay, you know you will be getting some very nice fluffy desserts, sandwiches and noms. What better drink to go with these, than some delicious home crafted fresh milk. We had the banana, strawberry, nutella and butterscotch flavoured milk, such a befitting end to a sweet laden meal. Do remember to check out WichDay cafe the next time you're on your #CafeHoppingMalaysia rounds, or if you're in the vicinity of Connaught Cheras.

  1. Unicorns or horses? Where are the horns? Ummm...I like my hardboiled eggs undercooked so the yolk would not be so hard and dry, moist...or runny like the one in my blogpost today.
