A new branch of Vision Space Optometrist just opened in Sunway Giza. I was at their launch a couple of days back, and I'm impressed with their very unique and niche brands of eyewear available.  This is their third optical centre located at B-15-G Sunway Giza, with two other optical centres located at Damansara Uptown and SS2 bungalow house.

At Sunway Giza itself, they have 2 full time optometrists and 4 eye examination rooms, way more than your usual optometrist outlet.

I was introduced to one of the partner, Ms Loo Huey Yee who is in charge of Vision Space Optometrist Sunway Giza. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Optometry at UKM in 2009, very experienced and highly skilled in providing vision care to customers. I was impressed with her depth of knowledge, and very accommodating in answering all my queries about my glasses.

To gather measurement data such as distance between the two eyes, wrap and tilt angle of the frame with accuracy up to 0.1mm. Besides that, it also allows you to preview and compare how you look like in frames that you are fond of.

Going through the eye tests for myself, I was pleased to find out my eye 'power' has remained the same for the past 3 years or so. This means I can start making more glasses with the same lens power and be able to rotate among them. Here at Vision Space Optometrist, they have the equipment to capture photo of the back of the eye (retina), to check for retina related diseases (glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes retinopathy, retinal tear, etc). Real high tech stuff there.
