Have you been to GM Klang Wholesale City yet? The one stop shopping centre located in Klang, one which I have yet to visit. I was at their Festival Ramadan Klang media launch the other day, which is upcoming, following GM Klang's successful "Klang Spring Cultural Festival" back in February for the Chinese New Year celebrations.

Partnering with the Alumni of Fakulti Seni Lukis & Seni Reka, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Projek Iqra and Women International Network (WIN), the festival is expected to complement the upcoming Ramadan festivities. It will run from 26 June to 12 July at the open parking space of GM Klang Wholesale City.
The media launch held at Empire Damansara
With more than 100 stalls offering Hari Raya necessities and items, including buka puasa food, GM Klang Wholesale City will be different from the rest, offering a "Nostalgic Path" or "Laluan Nostalgia" theme with lamps and lightings to fit the occasion. Expect a Malay Village styled background and concept for the festival. The "Laluan Nostalgia" will be a path built between two rows of stalls with a village setting including traditional games being played there. It should be fun, expected to bring back fond memories of days gone past for visitors to the fair.

The MD for GM Klang Wholesale City, Dato' Lim Seng Kok in his speech during the Festival Ramadan Klang 2015 media launch mentioned that the reason they are having this festival would be to foster a better relationship within the community. The GM Klang Wholesale City name itself is synonymous to the act of purchasing cheap items in bulk, so they have many visitors daily. On top of that, it would be a great chance for families to spend time together doing meaningful activities while they shop.
