Crave Cafe @ Oasis Square Ara Damansara

Have you been to Oasis Square Ara Damansara recently? If you haven't you must go there! It's not just office buildings, as they have a wide variety of f&b outlets, with a beautiful scenic view of water and such. Anyway, the #cafehoppingmalaysia project brought me to this Australian themed cafe, Crave at Oasis Square the other day. Read up below on what we had that morning.

Relaxing, comfy decor of Crave

Arriving at Crave, it was a pretty nice comfortable, laid back setup which they have going on inside. There's even a small section for kids to enjoy some kids stuff, and books. Most of the lunch crowd were office folks, but they do have their fair share of walk-ins from families and groups of friends. Serving Arabica coffee sourced from Toby’s Estate, Crave is an Australian style cafe with an exceptionally comfy environment. 

Hot Chocolate - RM10

Dirty Chai Latte - RM12

We ordered our drinks and beverages right after getting seated. Now I've always had a penchant for a good cup of hot chocolate. Here at Crave they serve very nice piping hot Hot Chocolate, which wasn't too sweet. Complete with a small art on top, pretty good chocolate drink. Do try out their Dirty Chai Latte too, with a unique mix of spiced black tea and espresso based cafe lattes. 

Iced Long Black - RM10

If you are in for the cold coffee drinks, like what we did, we went ahead to order their Iced Long Black. Water first, espresso next, refreshing cold drink to whet our appetite for the food that Crave has to offer. Yes, they do serve some pretty nice noms. 

Crave's Big Breakfast - RM22

A great start to anybody's day would be to munch into Crave's Big Breakfast, consisting of 2 sunny side up eggs, Bratwurst sausage, beef bacon, baked beans, roasted cherry tomatoes, mushrooms and wholemeal artisan bread. It is indeed a mouthful, with my personal favourite being the flower shaped rolled bacon. 

Green Pesto Chicken Pasta - RM18

Green is the new trend, with the Green Pesto Chicken Pasta coming on a plate looking really green and all. Even though basil leaves were used, it is interesting to note it does not overpower to overall taste of this dish. Kudos to the chef for coming up with a savoury tasty dish. 

Cheesy Meatballs Sandwich - RM14

Cheesy delights came in the form of Crave's Cheesy Meatballs Sandwiches. Freshly made sandwich served with 5 seeds artisan loaf and beef meatballs, fully covered with sweet sourish tomato sauce and melted cheese on top, how can i say no to this!

Seabass in Spicy Cream Sauce - RM15

Meals can be had at Crave, as they do serve some rather filling dishes. One of it being this Seabass in Spicy Cream Sauce, served with flavorful butter-herbed rice. Creamy, smooth with a hint of spice, it's interesting and rather good to note that Crave doesn't serve the usual dolly fish, but chose to serve the pricer seabass for seafood lovers to enjoy. 

Crave's Aussie Burger - RM22

Ah, how can we forget the ever popular burgers. At Crave they serve these huge platters of Crave's Aussie Burger, piled high with tender beef patty, egg, savory beef bacon, fresh lettuce, juicy sliced tomato and crunchy beetroot as well as pineapple to give a hint of nice-balanced sweet sourish taste. Really good stuff here, definately recommended to give this dish a shot the next time you are at Crave.
