CONS Project is the global initiative by Converse that has hosted series of free creative workshop in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto and Boston, collaborating with experts in the world of SKATE, ART and MUSIC. In Kuala Lumpur, its very own CONS Project will be held from 10am to 10pm at WakaLab, Media Prima Digital, located at Jalan Riong Bangsar this coming Sept 20th 2014.

Cons Project Kuala Lumpur offers invaluable interactive workshops for youth ranging from skateboarding, basic music skills, video production, graffiti art and more. The DIY workshops will be hosted by key opinion leaders from the skate, music and art scene in Malaysia, all relating to the theme of Converse CONS. Among the names are veteran skateboarder Joe Ipoh, skate videographer Mariss Khan, renowned punk rock band Subculture, Kudut (Azender’s Drummer), District (part of Malaysian graffiti collective) as well as Converse CONS sponsored skaters.

Apart from workshops there will be a skateboarding jam and games to be held during the first half of the event, along with mini gig performances by local independent acts such as Azure For Janne, Instake, Maddthelin and I-Revival. Nervedeless, winners of Converse Get Loud from Converse Malaysia’s 2013 Music Tour and Online Campaign, will also be rocking the crowd during Converse CONS Project Kuala Lumpur.
