Bento Live: Free Video Streaming Service

Have you heard of the latest free video streaming service in town? I was driving back from a long day out a couple of days back when I heard this radio ad on Bento Live, the free video streaming service. It did not take long before I powered on the laptop, head to their interactive website at http://www.bentolive.com , register and started watching one of their many movies. Today's writeup will be all on Bento Live, what it offers and how cool it is when we catch it on a Samsung smart TV.

Surfing the Bento Live website was a breeze. A quick registration, and I was on my way to stream multiple TV shows, and movies over the internet in HD quality. Being a fan of the horror genre, it was pretty cool that they had this Hatchet movie to stream, which I watched the very next minute.

The movie Hatchet itself is a pretty violent and gory slasher style film, one which I pretty much love to catch on a lazy night after a long day out at work. I wouldn't say it is the best I've watched in recent times, but it's a pretty good one. Being able to watch it for free from Bento Live from the comforts of my home, on my laptop takes the icing off the cake.

Bento Live's new website offers free movies, and true to their promise, a quick glance at their website on bentolive.com gives me a wide variety of movies to choose, from movies, documentaries, tv series to animes. The only small compromise for the absolutely free movies would be to catch a short advertisement before the movie begins, something I can live with. Another plus point would be the fact the shows are streamed in HD quality, giving clear sharp and crisp images on my laptop's resolution.

It was then pretty cool when I had the opportunity to head down to Bento Live's office to check out their latest offerings, where Bento Live is now available on the Samsung Smart TV and Samsung Mobile Devices. They had this really large 75" Samsung Smart TV pre-installed with Bento Live app, to showcase to us how Bento Live works.

What blew my mind that afternoon at Bento Live's office was the picture quality of the movies shown on the huge 75" TV. The picture quality is flawless, HD quality, without any pixelation of any sort. Pretty cool, with me wishing I could bring back the TV for my own use at home.

Navigating around Bento Live's app on the Samsung Smart TV is really too simple. The layout is simple, easy to understand, just click Watch and go. All I had to do was to browse for the movie of my choice, choose it, and click play.

There were options to choose subtitles, or to set the movie to SD or HD quality. As with the website, one had to sit through a short commercial, in this case it was a video showcasing Bento Live, before proceeding to stream the movie. Check out the Bento Samsung Smart TV commercial below.
