Philips Innovation That Matters To You Contest

Being a user of the Philips Aquatouch AT890 electric shaver, I do appreciate the technology behind the convenience and ease of use of this innovative product.(Philips Aquatouch AT890: Versus My Shaving Blade) It didn't come as a surprise to me then when Philips came up with their latest campaign and contest title "Innovation That Matters To You" which basically calls for us mere mortals to submit ideas for a safer city or a healthier home.

When I got to know about this contest, it actually got my brain cells ticking, to come up with ideas on how to work towards having a safer city or a healthier home. Yes, I haven't been stressing my brain cells much recently. The two themes given by the Innovation That Matters To You contest should be able to garner lots of creative ideas from everyone.

The two themes (Healthy Homes and Safer Cities)

Before we get on to the details of the contest further down this post, I would like to share what's at stake. Of course, the end in mind would be a safer city and healthy homes, but do check out the prizes offered in this contest below. 

Some of the prizes up for grabs, just submit an idea and stand a chance to win!

Pretty easy, just submit an idea, and win. The prizes for the six best ideas submitted are as below:

5 Consolation Prizes for Shortlisted Entries:
