ChatON Official Launch Event @ The Butter Factory KL

Last Friday, the 28th June 2013 to be exact, ChatON, the cross-platform mobile messaging app had their official launch celebrating it in a sea of orange over at The Butter Factory KL. I had the opportunity to catch the launch, in my all-new "orangey" shirt.

Everybody came indifferent shades of orange, be it ladies or gentlemen, we had one thing in common that night, our orange outfits and the love for the ChatON app. At the launching event itself, ChatON unveiled it's official brand new television commercial and annoucement of its upcoming partnerships.

Arriving at the venue just in time to have some complimentary Starbucks drinks at their van outside The Butter Factory, I was already hyped up from the colourful clothings I saw. We were entertained with dance performances and ChatON-related games to win some really cool Samsung S3 Minis.

"ChatON is all about celebrating friendships and creative expression. Sending images, videos and voice messages are ingrained into the way consumers communicate these days. In view of that, Samsung constantly innovates to provide consumers with opportunities relevant to the changing times, and ChatON is testament to this," said Mr Vincent Chong, Head of Mobile Phone Division, Samsung Malaysia Electronics

That was only the beginning, as things got heated up further into the night when the contest for best dressed men and women started. I must applaud the creativity of the contestants, as they went all out during the runway walk, from dancing with the MC, carrying orange duck pillow, wearing a carrot as a tie, to doing breakdance moves and many other eye catching moves.

ChatON, now available in 62 languages in over 200 countries, comes with a host of innovative features to add zest and colour into everyday conversations. In bringing chatting to the next level, ChatON's cool features include this group chat thingy which allows up to 200 people in a single chat room. Now that's a whole lot of people chatting away at the same time!

Of course, any event would not be complete with some photos of my fellow bloggers and friends, which I took the liberty to capture while walking around the party area munching on their generous finger food. Check out some of the photos I managed to capture, more can be found on my Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/isactanjs though.

ChatON is available on a multitude of mobile operating systems such as Android, iOS, BlackBerry, Windows and bada, to truly make the app an instant messaging service available to all. On top of that, you can actually use ChatON on your personal computers as well, how cool is that?

  6. Music was great and I think it's recently renovated - it didn't seem that old or anything. And the seating is great. I came here a couple months ago for some music concert and again had a great time.
