Pulse Ultra Club @ Grand Millennium Hotel KL
Just last week, I was at the Pulse Ultra Club @ Grand Millennium Hotel KL to catch this band Chill perform. It was a casual event, where we were treated to some really nice music from the seven person band with rather captivating talents. Oh, plus the club do serve some nice food too, one which goes well with their drinks.
Chill; an irascible seven persons band with vivacious personalities and captivating talents. |

Beautiful bar and club, Pulse Ultra Club |
Even though I've been to Grand Millennium Hotel a couple of times before, this was my first time up at their club, and I might add it was a good experience. I was there with Janice, as I did not expect the loud music. Fortunately Pulse Ultra Club had these really comfortable sofas and seats away from the main stage where we could just chill out.
The band Chill entertaining us with some really good music |
With a tagline that goes "Turn on the chill as well as turn up the heat!”, I guess it pretty much summarizes the new band playing at Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur – Pulse Ultra Club.
Wyller Manus from Chill is no stranger to the music scene for harmonizing local music with today’s latest hits, a talent he picked up from his travels over Phillipines, China, Taiwan and Malaysia.
Everyday I'm Shufflin' |
Combined with Glaiza L.Acu and Joy Jardio, the sassy lasses with bellowing voice and enthralling stage presence along with the band’s cantata ranging from evergreen, retro, rock & roll, pop and even soul music in various repertoire, one finds it had to peel themselves from their seats nor take their eyes of the stage!
She does have a powerful voice |
I always feel that a good night out must always be accompanied by good food, and here Pulse Ultra Club did not disappoint, as they brought out these really yummy finger food to go along with their Kamikaze cocktails. Check it all out below.
#1 Crispy nachos with all the accompanying delights |
#2 My favourite Fried Chicken Wings |
#3 Calamari Rings for you and for me |
The food did go along well with the drinks. I especially liked the fried chicken wings, and had to be physically held back by Janice from taking my subsequent pieces. It was literally a free flow of chicken wings that night. The Calamari rings and nachos were the perfect accompaniments to good music too at Pulse Ultra Club.
Kamikaze Cocktails @ RM30 nett each |
The drinks helped a lot to calm us down that beautiful night though. As I chilled along with Janice, more friends came over to join us as it was a quieter spot and we could actually converse. I love the fact Pulse Ultra Club have these different sections, so when we felt like letting loose, all we had to do was walk down to the dance floor.
Janice and I enjoying the comforts of Pulse Ultra Club's sofas |
So if you're in town, and happen to want a place to club or just chill, do drop by Pulse Ultra Club @ Grand Millennium Hotel KL. Located just opposite Fahrenheit in the vicinity of Pavilion area, the location itself is really strategic.
