Panasonic Lumix Launch in Malaysia 2011

Panasonic had a rather grand launching of their latest Lumix camera series over at Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa on the 19th December 2011. I was fortunate enough to be invited to catch their launching as well as to join their dinner and performances that night. This round we even had the presense of beauty pageants from various countries, 36 countries to be exact, to join us for dinner as well as to vie for the Miss Lumix Photogenic which was voted by the attendees that night.

The dinner commenced later that evening, with 36 of these really beauiful ladies from all over the world coming in vying for the title of Miss Lumix Photogenic. The highlights for the dinner would definately be the way the tables are arranged to give the opportunity for the attendees to sit with these ladies. Unfortunately for me, I was sitting way behind, hence did not get the opportunity to sit and chat with the beauty pageants while having dinner. The attendees sitting further in front were luckier.

The guests including yours truly was served with some rather nice food, which included the Prawn Spring Roll, Cream of Forest Mushrooms, Roasted Baby Chicken with Pine Nut and Macadamia Nut Sauce, and for dessert, the Chocolate Brownies with Vanilla Ice-Cream.

The five finalists chosen were from Czech Republic (Jana Kopecka), Thailand (Patsaraporn Khonkhamhaeng), China (Zhu Zhu), Belarus (Anastasiya Kharanava) and Malaysia (Gabriella Robinson). Congratulations to Ms Jana Kopecka for clinching the title with her sporting attitude, amazing poise and good looks.
