Kam Lun Tai Restaurant Sri Petaling
Kam Lun Tai Restaurant was the venue for an investment talk thing when a couple of us were invited for some food session. Driving all the way to Sri Petaling, I was glad that I had my GPS to guide me the right way. Kam Lun Tai is a rather big chinese restaurant spanning 3 lots of double storey space.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the organizers and ushered to our table on the top floor. It wasn't going to be a 10 course dinner, but we had a "9 course" feast where all the dishes were served at the same time except for the fish and desserts. The servings were rather large though, so it kept even the hungriest of us contented. Check out below on some of the food we had that night.
#1 Salad Prawns |
#2 Char Siew Pork |
#3 Wrapped Braised Pork |
Now the 3 dishes above were really nice, sinfully rich with calories and fats especially the braised pork, but I liked it alot. The prawns weren't bad either, could have been more fresh though.
#4 Japanese Tofu with egg |
#5 "Pickled Vegentables" soup with fish and tofu |
#6 Roasted Chicken |
#7 Fried Fish Cubes |
I do have to comment on the fried fish cubes, the size of the cube was really large, up to the extend that one cube of that fish meat was enough to fill you up. The japanese tofu, and roasted chicken was good too, served piping hot. We had desserts last, which were some sweet sea coconut with longan dessert and these wonderful Durian pastry thing. The durians inside were really fresh, and Kam Lun Tai did not skimp on the amount of durian flesh inside.

#9 The very sweet and delicious Durian dessert |
Of course, the main purpose of inviting us there other than the food was to talk on the AXA insurance investment scheme, which was rather good. I will not be elaborating on the scheme though, just a couple of photos of the speakers and our group shot will suffice for now.

Overall a really good meal, stuffed to the brink, and I thank Kam Lun Tai, and the organizers for having this event for us. Personally, I won't mind going back there again if only to order the braised pork.
