Thanks to tickets from Nini, I had the opportunity to catch the premiere screening of Alvin And The Chipmunks 3: Chipwrecked over at the MBO Cineplex in Subang Parade. Having caught the previous two installments of Alvin and The Chipmunks, I went into the movie theater with high expectations of another nice movie, and I was not disappointed.

Arriving at the cineplex just in time for the movie to start, I was really glad to have friends Elwyn, and Sky helping me to collect the tickets from CinemaOnline booths and waiting for me before entering the theater.

This third installment of Alvin and The Chipmunks tells of how our cute and ever lovely chipmunks and the Chipettes got themselves stuck on an island with nothing but their survival instincts to survive. Alvin as usual was up to his usual crazy and naughty antics, literally driving Dave up the wall, over the seas and unto an island.

Getting themselves chipwrecked unto that island was only the beginning as the chipmunks and the chipettes soon realize help may come late or none will come at all. We then see them engaging in various adventures around the island trying to build a shelter, collecting food, trying to survive while dancing and singing every once in a while.

I find them really cute and lovable, don't you?
As always, the centre of attention was Alvin, but in this installment, we get to see more character development for each of the characters. I just love how the chemistry works between the chipmunks and the chipettes, each pairing up nicely. We have the smart and responsible Simon going all tarzan-like with Jeanette, Theodere and Eleanor being just very sweet and lovable, and finally Alvin with his perfectly matched Britanny.
Overall, Alvin and The Chipmunks 3: Chipwrecked was a good movie to watch. Young kids would love the movie, while adults will feel good with the storyline. Personally I liked how everything played out, with a rare opportunity to see the ever cheeky Alvin gaining maturity and getting some lessons in responsibility. I would rate this movie a 7.5/10, a rather nice feel good movie which is best watched with the family, kids, loved ones, and friends.

( All New Toyota Vios Launched In Malaysia ). It was rather cool then that last week I was given the latest Toyota Vios 1.5 TRD Sportivo to experience and review here in this space of mine on the web. Toyota Vios has always been a rather popular car in Malaysia, being an essential part of youth pop culture in Malaysia, with looks that will turn heads. Toyota Vios 1.5 TRD Sportivo Review
