Today I had the urge to grab myself some fried bananas and it just so happens there's one just opposite my company. "Goreng Pisang" as they call it here, is one of Malaysia's favourite tea time snack. In fact, it doesn't necessarily have to be taken only during tea time, any time is a good time for a goreng pisang!

This is one huge banana called the "pisang tanduk" |
Just look at the size of the banana on top. I'm not kidding when I say it's huge. A quick question to the shop owner taught me that this is the "pisang tanduk" or literally translated as "horned banana"! I was lucky enough to have 2 trainee models with me who took the chance to "model" with the bananas to prove my point that it's huge. Don't believe me yet? Have a look below then.

Anyway, the stall sold pretty nice and cheap fried bananas, 5pcs for RM1. I for one wanted to try how the Pisang Tanduk tasted like so I ordered both the normal fried bananas as well as the huge ones.

I would say the taste of fried Pisang Tanduk was just like any normal fried bananas. Probably it just looked special with its size. So have you tried a banana this big before? Well, I have!
