No matter how many times I have eaten her cooking, no matter if it remains the same dishes,
mother's cooking will always remain my favourite food. I guess it's because the effort put in to cook them came from her love towards her family, towards us. Tell me if you think otherwise.

Just seeing these food again made me wish I was back in Penang enjoying her cooking every day. Probably I might rush back to Penang again one of these coming weekends. Home cooked meals, nothing beats mum's cooking. So am I "Mama's boy"? In a way, I am, all the way!

ReplyDeleteBetter go back more often, Isaac.. I also miss my sons very much now that they are away from home.. even when they come home, I dont have time to cook much for them.. normally we end up eating outside.. they miss ipoh food more than the home cooking.. hahaha...
