Last Friday night, I had the opportunity to catch this awesome musical extravaganza at Sunway Lagoon's Amphitheater, Magical Musicals. It was the premiere night of Magical Musicals. Check out my previous pre-writeup on this event at this link. Thanks to Feeq for the complimentary passes. As this was the premiere, we were given the privilege to record down the musical event in any ways we want. Do check out the youtube videos which I managed to capture using my humble camera at the end of this post.
Magical Musical!
This way please.
The seats that we were allocated were in the blue zone which was pretty strategic. Blue zones ticket are selling for RM200 each. From where I was seated, just behind the VIP zone, I had full view of the stage. However, without a zoom lens and a DSLR, my humble camera could not get good shots due to the distance.
Tickets
Before the show started, I had the opportunity to catch up with a few fellow bloggers who turned up. There were a lot other bloggers who attended, but the the crowd hindered me from meeting all of them. Anyway below would be a few photos I managed to capture of us! See all the happy faces.
Eric and Caroline

Shemah and her sweet kids
The show was delayed slightly, probably due to first day jitters. At around 8.45pm, Magical Musicals kicked off with a bang. Magical Musicals tells a story of 6 friends at Times Square New York auditioning for a new show. We then see them enjoying the sights and sounds that New York have to offer. In between, there was also a love story involving 3 couples, one long time couple, one fresh couple, and a soon to be couple.
Awesome active dancers
The stories were well played and acted out in the midst of awesome music and dance moves. We were treated to songs such as Saturday Night Fever, Don't Stop Me Now, Tonight, Good Morning Baltimore, We Will Rock You, Jai Ho and more! The songs were really catchy, and coupled with the dancing, the crowd really moved to the music.
Dancers with really outgoing outfits moving to the music!

The crowd enjoying the musical
Since we were given the privilege to capture on video, do check out some of the videos I managed to capture that night. The quality might not be very good, but you'll get a pretty good idea on how the musical is like from the videos below. Overall, it was an awesome night, and I truly enjoyed the event. Music, dancing, and disco lights all round, what more can you ask for.

I was at the Toyota Vios launch event back in 2013 when they launched their 3rd gen look in Malaysia, and I must say it wow'ed a lot of folks with its looks. ( All New Toyota Vios Launched In Malaysia ). It was rather cool then that last week I was given the latest Toyota Vios 1.5 TRD Sportivo to experience and review here in this space of mine on the web. Toyota Vios has always been a rather popular car in Malaysia, being an essential part of youth pop culture in Malaysia, with looks that will turn heads. Toyota Vios 1.5 TRD Sportivo Review
