Friendscino Restaurant and Bar

Sometime last week, Glow aka Gloria, a fellow blogger happened to come down KL for a casting event and us being the friendly gang decided to have a short gathering to "welcome" her. It was Carmen's idea for the small gathering specially organized to welcome Ms Glow who came all the way down from Kedah and the restaurant we chose to dine in was this place called Friendscino Restaurant and Bar at Damansara Perdana.

Open Weekdays 10am-1:30am; Weekends 10am-3am

I was the first to arrive and managed to book a table to cater for all 9 of us. Horrors of horror, I realized I forgot to take my camera along! Devastated as I was, my phone camera was my only consolation and a lot of the photos that I took was so dark it was unusable. Please bear with me as below are some of the food pictures I managed to capture.

From L-R, Sirloin Steak, Beef Carbonara, Fish and Chips, Bread and Butter Pudding with ice cream

The restaurant itself had a very comfortable feel to it, with dimmed lights for the relaxing ambience. Definately a good place to unwind after work. Friendscino had a pool table, and even this cool looking beer pong table if you're in for some fun activities after dinner.

We chatted over food and everything fun and interesting, until the band started playing. That night there was a life band, but we were too closed to the stage that the music drowned out our conversations. That was when we decided to shift spots to a comfy big couch. Check out some of the pictures of us below, fun times. The photos taken from my phone's camera were too sad, so I took some off Carmen's blog. Thank you Carmen.

Overall, good food, good music, very nice ambience and best of all, the company was great! The food prices were on the high side though, so I wouldn't make it a habit of eating out here often. Most importantly, Glow's visit to KL was celebrated in style with a group of same minded people, bloggers!

  18. Ken, How come never drop by? Sometimes the closest restaurants nearby our place may well be the best. But we don't really appreciate it and go food hunting far away. hehe :)
