Venetian Carnival Masks

What do you know about these Venetian Carnival Masks, if you're not sure of what it is, welcome to the club! Until now, I'm really not well versed with these masks, and decided to do a little digging up on it from the web. One search from Google got me a pages upon pages of these beautiful elaborately decorated masks which sort of reminded me of Opera shows, and also those wild masked parties.

Just seeing these masks, I find it really intriguing, it's both beautiful yet uniquely magical in a sense. These Venetian Carnival Masks originated from Venice centuries ago where Venetians who lived there adopted the custom of wearing masks so that they can move freely in the society. What a concept I tell you! Today, these masks of all types are still worn at the Carnival Of Venice event

There's even a type of mask called the full face feather masks. If it were up to me, I would love to attend an event or a masked party if it was held here. It seems pretty fun to walk around in masks, moving to the music. Just check out the masks below.

This one seems pretty scary

The more I read up on these masks and its Venetian tradition, the more I feel it's such a beautiful culture. However I doubt a carnival like this can make its way here. People might hide behind the mask and start creating trouble. It's still a beautiful concept though.
