Again I'm back from yet another great free movie premiere courtesy from Nuffnang. This time around, the screening was held at GSC Tropicana City Mall. The movie? Battle: Los Angeles! The movie tickets were won via a contest held by Nuffnang.
World Invasion: Battle LA
So there I was around 7pm, just in time to catch dinner with a great bunch of bloggers who won the tickets as well. Sharp at 8pm, we were all up there at GSC Cinemas queuing to collect our tickets.
The movie started at 9pm sharp. Battle Los Angeles, the title itself conjures up images of war with lots of heavy artillery, and that is pretty much what the movie is about. In a nutshell, it's a movie of these hostile aliens coming to Earth for its natural resources. Without any introduction, the aliens starts bombing cities after cities, and shooting everybody in their way.
My tics
The action in the movie was just awesome, with non-stop camera work of war scenes. Think war movie, with souped up special effects plus aliens and you will get the picture. The plot was actually very simple, but no one's complaining though. Check out my summary for the plot below.
Alien comes to earth, alien shoots humans, human shoots back, human hurt, human goes "Hoorah!", human kills big mothership, alien gets weak, human shoots again, and shouts "Hoorah!" again, alien loses, human wins. Lots of emotions involved in this movie I tell you. Throw in a few civilians / childrens and it gets even more emotional.
Watch this movie, if only for the special effect. The action keeps on pounding, bullets fly, grenades explode, you can actually feel a surge of adrenaline. Nice movie overall. Check out the trailer below, and some movie captures.
Our hero Aaron Eckhart, who plays Marine Staff Sergeant Michael Nantz

I was at the Toyota Vios launch event back in 2013 when they launched their 3rd gen look in Malaysia, and I must say it wow'ed a lot of folks with its looks. ( All New Toyota Vios Launched In Malaysia ). It was rather cool then that last week I was given the latest Toyota Vios 1.5 TRD Sportivo to experience and review here in this space of mine on the web. Toyota Vios has always been a rather popular car in Malaysia, being an essential part of youth pop culture in Malaysia, with looks that will turn heads. Toyota Vios 1.5 TRD Sportivo Review
