Clear Consomme with Chicken Tortellini and Tomato Consomme with Mixed Vegetables Tortellini
Both the soup looks almost alike, but taste vastly different, with different ingredients used depending on whether you want chicken or pure vegetables in the soup. Light and flavorful Clear Consommé with Chicken Tortellini. Vegetarian can opt for the Tomato Consommé with Mixed Vegetables Tortellini.
For mains, you get to choose either the delectable Salmon Fillet or Parmiggiano Cheese Crust Chicken Breast. Chef oven-baked the salmon fillet and paired it with orange beurre blanc, with its creamy tanginess taste that easily accentuates the lovely flavor of salmon. Love that crispy skin on top.
Parmiggiano Cheese Crust Chicken Breast
A rather unique dish to me, the Parmiggiano Cheese Crust Chicken Breast was served together with sautéed Enoki and mushroom-flavored supreme foam. Interestingly plated, it's good to know it tasted well, albeit a tad small in serving. Cheese lovers should go for this.
The Fedellini Pasta consists of fragrant porcini and wild mushrooms, lots of it, without any meat involved. Surprisingly even though it lacks meat, the taste is still rather flavourful. I would very much prefer a bit of meat in my pasta, but hey, this is perfect for vegetarians. Light and creamy, do try this dish out.
Caramelized Apple Mille-feuille
End your Mother's Day meal with your loving mother with this sweet Caramelized Apple Mille-feuille as dessert. Topped with beautiful Korean strawberry, the ricotta cheese nicely balanced up the sweetness of this crusty dessert. So if you're wondering where to take your mum for dinner this Mother's Day, do try out The Gastro Project.
