INTI International College Subang Redeveloped City Campus

There I was last week at the newly renovated INTI International College in SS15 Subang to catch what's happening at their INTI Edge Festival as well as to check out their cool facilities. This post will serve as a writeup on my experience going for INTI's revamped campus tour as well as the Youtubers Celebrity Gathering session.

Arriving at INTI International College Subang, I had this nostalgic feeling recalling my university days more than a decade ago, yes I am that old. The difference here was that the campus itself exudes class, in a good way as nearly everything I saw and touched were practically new. It was a total revamp of the campus with a new addition to the building, more of which I will be going in more detail further down this post.

Happening on that same evening as our campus tour was the INTI Edge Festival 2013 as well, which gave me the opportunity to catch some celebrity Youtubers sharing their experiences in the all-new high tech auditorium. Why high tech? Well, to me having a power point at each and every single chair in the auditorium took me by surprise, in a good way. This means each and every student is able to charge their laptops with ease should they need to bring it to lectures.

Celebrity Youtubers, the cream of Youtubers in Malaysia were present at the Youtubers Celebrity Gathering, namely The Ming Thing, Jinnyboy TV, Grim Film and Dan Khoo. Sharing their inspirations, aspirations and experiences on stage for all, it was indeed a refreshing session for budding youtubers. We also got to catch their latest Youtube videos which have not been uploaded yet, first hand.

We were privileged to have Dr. Dominic Szambowsk, to bring us around, explaining the facilities that INTI Subang has to offer.

Embodying the concept of a cosmopolitan learning environment, with emphasis on openness and community, IICS will have capacity for 7,000 students from Malaysia and across the globe. Amenities will include a new three-storey building housing a 350-seat auditorium that will serve as an impressive venue for presentations by local and international speakers as well as ample learning spaces. It will also house INTI’s new School of Art & Design complete with a design gallery, studios, Macintosh and Autocad labs, materials library and design centre.

We harness the latest technology available to deliver effective learning outcomes and that includes the ample resources that will come with the new facilities,” said Dr Dominic Szambowski, President of IICS.
