Szechuan or Sichuan, the spelling doesn't really matter. What matters is the superb Szechuan cooking style, super spicy and oily base cooking, very flavourful. It was my first time dining at Lucky Cuisine Restaurant, but it did impress me that they took up the whole 3 floors of space. We dined on the 2nd floor, trying out their Parent's Day Special Menu which consists of six dishes, including one complimentary dumpling (10pcs) dish and Sichuan Tea.

Parent's Day Special Menu at only RM138 / set with free Sichuan Tea and Dumplings!

For only RM138 per set of six dishes plus complimentary Sichuan Tea and dumplings, the set can cater up from four to 6 diners, and it's real worth for money. Let's start with their delectable and signature dish shall we? Introducing the Fish Fillet in Hot Chili Oil

Now I've tried the really spicy Sichuan dishes when I was on one of my trips to Shanghai, China many years back. There it was really spicy, and it's good to know here at Lucky Sichuan Cuisine, they can tone down or up the spiciness level depending on what you want. The Fish Fillet in Hot Chili Oil dish is very authentic, we had these thick quality oil on the top layer, with delicious fish fillet 'swimming' inside. Have it with white rice, and this may just be a meal on itself. But wait, we have more!

Deep Fried Abalone Mushroom with Almond

Crunchy, almost crispy, with sweetness from the sauce and spiciness from the chilli, the almonds were an added special touch to the Deep Fried Abalone Mushroom with Almond dish. After tasting the other hot and spicy dishes, this is a welcome change. Lovely dish, pop one of the deep fried abalone mushroom in the mouth and enjoy!

Stir Fried Broccoli with Scallop

The scallops made a whole world of difference to the Stir Fried Broccoli dish. I have always liked this dish, as it tasted really healthy, stir fried in light sauce with carrot and that yummy scallop inside. Not bad at all.

Mapo Beancurd

The Mapo Beancurd dish came looking rather fierce, in a sea of red and all. Surprisingly, it wasn't as spicy as I expected it to be. But then, you are always welcome to request for the spiciness level to be increased, from the 'human level' spicy, to super spicy levels. Love how the smooth beancurd slid down my throat with ease. The sauces and flavours really went well with the accompanied rice.

Stir Fried Chicken with Cashew Nut

Another stir fried goodness, something the Chinese have perfected over the years. The Stir Fried Chicken with Cashew Nut has lots of red chilli in the mix, so don't expect a mild dish. However compared with the rest of the spicy Sichuan cuisine, this is a walk in the park. There were generous amounts of cashew nuts inside, which is a good move from Lucky Cuisine. Never skimp on the ingredients, and you have an awesome, tasty dish to savour!

Pork Ribs with Lotus Root Soup

Slurp down all that good food with an equally good soup, the flavourful Pork Ribs with Lotus Root Soup. Just check out how it looks from the picture above. Dig out those pork ribs from the soup, have it with the lotus roots, and you have an awesome tasting soup. There's a rather heavy peppery flavour to it too.
