SEPIRING has a total of four outlets located in the Klang Valley, in major malls namely The Mines, IOI City Mall, Sunway Putra Mall and Mid Valley Megamall which I went to. It's the stuff you grow up to, local cuisines ranging from rojak, assam laksa, ayam percik and more!

Rice Dishes

Nyonya Nasi Ulam with Ayam Percik - RM25.90
Nyonya Nasi Ulam with Ayam Percik - RM25.90

It looks as good as it tasted, the Nyonya Nasi Ulam with Ayam Percik comes in a combination of so many unique ingredients. The Nasi Ulam can be eaten by itself. Couple it with the tasty Ayam Percik from Kelantan, salted egg, deep fried keropok lekor, and you have a sizeable meal which can even be shared! Good stuff, I like the sauce the douse on top of the ayam percik.

Nasi Pandan with Ayam Berempah - RM21.90
Nasi Pandan with Ayam Berempah - RM21.90

Another hearty rice dish from SEPIRING, we tried out their Nasi Pandan with Ayam Berempah. A more luxurious version of our nasi lemak, you have the very fragrant nasi lemak pandan, sambal, and my personal favourite, the Ayam Goreng Berempah. The chicken tasted oh so good, with the usual nasi lemak condiments, hard boiled eggs, fried anchovies, peanuts and sambal on the side. There's even their special rendang kunyit sauce placed at the side for that added kick.

Nasi Kunyit with Curry Chicken - RM15.90
Nasi Kunyit with Curry Chicken - RM15.90

Don't let the size of this dish fool you. The Nasi Kunyit can really fill you up, as it's made from turmeric glutinous rice. Served with the fragrant Curry Chicken, I just could not get enough of this dish. A glance around the restaurant that afternoon, and I noticed more than a couple of tables who ordered this dish.

Noodles

Penang Assam Laksa - RM18.90
Penang Assam Laksa - RM18.90

Must try, the Penang Assam Laksa had bits and pieces of mackerels floating inside, making the soup thick and delicious. Sepiring did not skimp on the ingredients as can be attested by the flavours of the soup.

Nyonya Laksa - RM18.90
Nyonya Laksa - RM18.90

A classic Peranakan noodle dish, the Nyonya Laksa served at SEPIRING uses the same thick rice noodles as our Penang Assam Laksa, except thick, rich coconut curry broth is used instead. Inside we had generous servings of large prawns, shredded steamed chicken and fish cake slices. Not bad at all.

Spicy Smoked Beef Pasta - RM16.90
Spicy Smoked Beef Pasta - RM16.90

Pasta lovers, fret not, as you get to savour this superb Spicy Smoked Beef Pasta dish. It's not entirely a western cuisine, as the smoked beef is cooked in spicy turmeric coconut milk stew, giving out that unmistaken Asian flavours. This is actually pretty good, going well with my tastebuds.

Penang Rojak - RM12.90
Penang Rojak - RM12.90

Fruits are good for you and me, so do try out their delectable Penang Rojak while you're dining there. It's an assortment of fresh local fruits and vegetables, doused in rich homemade shrimp paste. The paste isn't too watery, coming in thick, just the way I like it. It's spicy too, so beware!

Yam Cake - RM13.90
Yam Cake - RM13.90

The Yam Cakes looks too nice to be eaten. To be taken as a light snack, or even as your breakfast meal, their yam cakes is loaded with ingredients, pretty good stuff. I would be going back again to try these.

Dessert

Bubur Cha Cha - RM8
Bubur Cha Cha - RM8
Durian Pancake - RM14.90
Durian Pancake - RM14.90

End your meal at SEPIRING with some of their signature dessert, in the form of the Bubur Cha Cha and the yummy Durian Pancake. Made up with sweet potatoes, yam and sago in rich coconut based soup, the Bubur Cha Cha is an indulgence indeed. I like their Durian pancake too, which had a really heavy taste and flavour of real durians inside. So there you have it, for a taste of local cuisine the next time you're out shopping at your favourite shopping mall, do remember to check out SEPIRING.
