Every day in the city has become a rush from one location to another, to work and work some more. We all know all work and no play makes Jack a rather boring dude, so it was a nice change for once when I checked into the latest retreat in town, Sojourn Guest House and HerbaLine Facial Spa @ Pandan Indah, Kuala Lumpur. Realign your focus and retreat in tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, dine healthy meals by Mama Kim and rejuvenate yourself their in-house Herbaline Facial Spa.

Herbaline Facial Spa has been around for a while, being the first spa concept facial in Malaysia, but this is the first time the group came up with a 3-in-1 concept, all in one building. Their tagline reads Eat Well, Look Well, and Live Well, which translates to one of the hottest healthy food cafe in town, Mama Kim, looking well with the Herbaline Facial Spa and obviously living well with the beautiful zen-like guesthouse.
Zen concept with lemon-grass aroma therapy fills the guest house and every floor of the building.
Together with the family, we checked in a night at Sojourn Guest House over the weekend, checking out their services and experiencing all three facilities in the building. One thing I love about the guesthouse would be the very courteous and cheerful staff, together with fragrance of lemongrass throughout the whole building. It did calm us the moment we entered, and I loved the scent so much that I actually bought a set of these aromatherapy device for my home.

Everywhere, it's all nature driven, with green and wood being used in every corner of Sojourn Guest House. Love how it actually made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. A lot of thought has been put in, creative and beautiful. We took the largest room, the family room, as the kids tagged along this time. Today's review will be on our experience during the staycation in the very comfy rooms, so here we go!

A comfy sofa for me to do my work on comfortably
Sojourn Guest House only has two family rooms, so do book early. The moment we entered our family room on the second floor, I was immediately impressed by the decor and space it provided. The beds were as comfy as it looked, complete with a small sofa by the side. The bathroom and cabinets were all integrated into the space to make it look very spa-like.
Cabinets and chairs of wood nature
Even the bathroom is beautifully designed to fit in the nature, green and wood concept
With a queen and single bed in the family room, there were ample space for us and the kids to sleep with ease through the whole night. If you noticed from the pictures above, there were up to four fluffy pillows on each bed, albeit two were of the smaller variant. No more fighting for who gets the extra pillow.

Love the wall decorations, simple yet looked very soothing to the eye
A standard LCD TV adorn the walls facing out bed, with the aircond and safety deposit box on the TV cabinet for that extra security for our belongings. What pleased me were the soothing wallpapers they have put up, complete with nature, a deer, birds and trees. Moving on to the bathroom, we were pleasantly surprised!
Lovely basin and bath cubicles with glass enclosures
Oriental looking basin with a bamboo pipe for the water to come out from
I was intrigued by the beautiful oriental looking basin, with an equally elaborate bamboo pipe for the water to come out from. Washing our hands and face was an exciting affair especially for the two boys. There's another bathtub in the same space that the two kids enjoyed even more! See below.
Japanese wooden bathtub
Similar to the ones they have in the HerbaLine spa, we had a Japanese wooden bathtub installed in our family room as well. At first glance, I wondered how it could fit my rather large body, but upon dipping inside, I realize it could actually fit up to two persons! Of course, we used it to bathe the two boys, and they truly enjoyed their bathtime.

Opening promotional prices at Sojourn Guest House
Sojourn Guest House is still having their opening promotions, with prices going as low as RM98 for a single person’s room with breakfast at Mama Kim. Now that's real value for money. During our course of stay there, we enjoyed a massage at the HerbaLine Facial Spa, and a very good meal at the Mama Kim restaurant.
A review on my Jade Stone Accupressure Body Massage at HerbaLine Facial Spa will be on my next post!
The family room that we took was Package B as shown in the picture above at RM338 and comes with:
