It's been a while since I had something really healthy from the Salad Bar, with my last review being a review of their branch at Damansara Utama (The Salad Bar Damansara Utama) A couple of days back, I was over at their The Salad Bar's new branch in Citta Mall Ara Damansara, all set to indulge in a wide variety of healthy salads.

Arriving at The Salad Bar Citta Mall with fellow foodies, we were all set to dig into some of their salad offerings. Frankly speaking, I wasn't really into the idea of having salads for dinner, but with the array of choices that The Salad Bar had to offer, I couldn't help but appreciate these leafy vegetables a bit more. Check out below on some of the salads we had that evening.

Old Granny Caeser with extra avocado - RM15.90 Full, RM10.90 Half
Kicking off the salad feast that night, we had the Old Granny Caeser with extra avocado, a name which made me chuckle initially. It was loaded with cheese and herbs chicken with italian dressing, tomatoes, cheese, boiled eggs and lots of avocado goodness. Go for this if you love avocados.
Red Salad - RM15.90 Full, RM10.90 Half
Tuna Pasta Salad - RM14.90
It's very informative and interesting that The Salad Bar took the liberty to serve the salads in two sizes, either Full or Half size with the calorie content stated beside each dish. The above two salads, namely the Red Salad and the Tuna Pasta Salad were the ones with a meatier bite to them. The Red Salad came looking rather red with the chicken sausage and Russian dressing with red pepper, tomatoes, carrot, and grapes. I did like the Tuna Pasta Salad especially with the poached egg on top giving out that extra savoury taste and texture to the salad.
Tuna Croissant - RM12.90
Yo Dawg - RM9.90
On top of having a wide variety of salads, The Salad Bar Citta Mall do serve some very nice sandwiches and pasta as well. Shown above were two of the sandwiches I've had the chance to savour, the Tuna Croissant and the Yo Dawg Sandwich. The Tuna Croissant was pretty good, meeting my expectations of a nice croissant stuffed with freshly made tuna. The Yo Dawg had a unique name to it, which was basically sausages with melted cheese. I love sausages and cheese, and when you put them together, it just goes very well with my taste buds.
Spicy Chicken Pasta - RM12.90
Tomato Pasta - RM10.90
I must say, I like The Salad Bar's Spicy Chicken Pasta, as it had this savoury pasta flavour with a tinge of spiciness inside. The added basil leaves and chili padi makes all the difference in what could be 'just another pasta dish'. The Tomato Pasta had these very springy and tangy spaghetti with tomato puree, basil, celery, carrot and onion.
Fruit Salad Bowl - RM12.90
If you love fruits, then do try out their Fruit Salad Bowl served with yogurt, honey and walnut. Sprinkled with chia seeds, this salad is definitely a healthy substitution for your snacking options. I do like how all the fruits and nuts came together being crunchy and all.
Blossoming Tea - RM11.90 per pot/ single
Mango Banana Smoothie - RM9.90
Now to down all that yummy salad, we just got to have some nice drinks or tea to go with it. Shown above were some of their offerings, in the form of the Blossoming Tea as well as the Mango Banana Smoothie. There were a variety of tea flavour ranging from french rose, apple flower, jasmine, rosemary, lemongrass, roselle, and many more. Served in this very cute tea pots and cups, these teas have various healing properties to it. Do drop by The Salad Bar at Citta Mall Ara Damansara if you're in the vicinity and would like a bowl of tasty and healthy salad.
