If you love coffee, then I'm sure you would have heard of these new nifty gadgets that let us make cafe style coffee in the comforts of our home. Nescafe's Dolce Gusto is one such innovation, and I might say it really is simple that even yours truly who knows nuts about coffee can make a decent cup of coffee. The other day I was invited to Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee Workshop over at Expresso Lab Publika thanks to Nuffnang, and it was indeed an experience for me.

Upon reaching Expresso Lab in Publika, I was all excited to try out the compact but powerful Dolce Gusto machine. After listening to a brief introduction to the workshop, and given the background on the machine, it wasn't long before we got to go hands on and made our own coffee and chocolate milk drinks. The steps to make our own coffee was so simple, that I couldn't think of any other way to get those nicely brewed coffee at home.

Just feed in those capsules press the button and it's done! Coffee, milk or chocolate and a whole lot more!

We had these myriad of coffee beans and flavours contained inside the capsules. Being spoilt for choice, we could actually choose to either have Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, Grande Intenso, Expresso, Mocha and Cappucino Ice. For chocolate lovers like Janice, she got to have the Chococino capsule. Throw in some frothed milk via the milk capsule, and you have a cup of freshly made and piping hot drink.

To fully enjoy our cup of coffee, we were then treated to some really delicious macaroons and desserts. It went really well with the coffee made via the Nescafe Dolce Gusto Machine, and I just had to have more of those sweet sweet macaroons.

Fancy some desserts to go with your coffee sir?

Overall it was a real fun experience, and I was really impressed by what this compact machine could do. We were each given one of these babies to try out at home, and I must say, I never thought I could make my own frothed coffee at home until I found Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine.
