Pepper Lunch Express Midvalley Megamall

Pepper Lunch Express, a rather catchy name for a food stall. I had my dinner here yesterday night before catching the movie Burlesque at Midvalley Megamall.

The food here reminded me of stone grilled outlets, as in the dishes are served on a hot plate (hot stone). The meat is served raw, but since the plate is very hot, you'll get to cook it yourself. Within minutes the meat gets cooked. Well, I ordered the sliced beef with rice set (rm14.90), while my partner ordered the chicken with rice set (rm9.90).

Overall, it was an OK meal, the taste is there, but not really very tasty. The provided black pepper sause, and soy sauce helps in adding taste to the meal. But for the money I paid for this 2 dishes, I actually expected much better tasting and quality food. The portion was rather small (for the chicken set) and definately not worth the RM9.90 paid.
