My Ride Auto Grooming Wangsa Melawati

I have always been kind of lazy to wash my car, not so much of laziness but the lack of space. My rented house in Wangsa Maju does not give me much open area to wash it. Therefore, I'm always on a look out for good, affordable and most importantly clean car wash outlet.

Well for the past 2 years or so, I've been a loyal customer of this outlet in Wangsa Melawati. The name of this car wash outlet is called My Ride Auto Grooming, which is kind of familiar if you ask me. It reminded me of the MTV show "Pimp My Ride". But most importantly is the service and effort they put in to ensure your ride is clean and shiny when you drive out of the place.

My Ride Car Wash Outlet at Wangsa Melawati
My Ride Auto Grooming provides a multitude of services and items other than the car wash itself ranging from waxing and polishing to car carpets. I've utilized the polishing services on a few occasions, and they never fail to impress. I was there 2 days ago to give my car a good washing when I decided to take some pictures of the outlet. The last time my car had a bath was like a month back, you can imagine the amount of dirt on it.

The waiting area
I am recommending this place for those who live nearby, probably around Ampang, Gombak and Wangsa Maju area. The reason being, the effort these guys put into cleaning your car is really worth the money you fork out. For example, my rims are white, so I usually emphasize to any car wash I go to to clean it properly. All other car wash outlets I've been to never does a good job here, as in there's always dirt left. When My Ride guys clean the interior of the car, every inch of the car was covered. I actually found it tough to find fault with their work.

All these for a price of RM10 inclusive of interior vacuuming (For a medium sized car). Not dirt cheap, but also not expensive, as the standard prices for a car wash in KL nowadays range from RM8 to RM30.

  4. RM10 only there? Same as here... I'm too lazy even to take mine to the car wash - just let the rain do the job and whenever I did, once in a blue moon, the guys would say, "Towkay...lu punya kereta kuat kotor lah!!!" LOL!!!

  9. rm10 is quite expensive... in my place, it costs only rm8. tapi kalau nak compared kan, kira murah la tu sebab dia hand wash, and ada waiting area yang lebih kurang tiptop.

Eh? Tak perasan pulak. But the signs pasted in front of the outlet makes the place look dirty.

Hi Nadia! Thanks for dropping a comment.

It's not very expensive, as they really do a good job, rim putih I paling susah dibasuh, and they managed to make it sparkle. Hehehe.

Haha, which underwater world? Sentosa? :P

It's a bit cramped in there. Actually before this they did not put the glass pane up, so it was just the seats.

They upgraded with the glass pane, an lcd tv, and air cond. Good enough :)

Eactly my point, they really take effort to clean my car properly.

I don't like slipshot work, imagine you send for a car wash, pay good money, and they do a poor job.

  17. Hahaha.... we only pay RM3 for a car wash in Ipoh.

  18. @ Cindy:

Rm3? I don't think that includes vacuuming right?

For RM4 we can get those drive thru car wash in KL, but it's never clean. :)
