My local adventures brought me to Ipoh the other day for a staycation over at WEIL Ipoh. Since I was already staying over at the hotel, I took the chance to taste some of the local delicacies at their  Citarasa Utara Ramadan Buffet. Held in the hotel, at their restaurant TIFFIN, the Ramadan buffet will run from 7 June to 4 July 2016. So there I was at Plaza Shah Alam last week, to catch a beauty pageant no less! Isaac the beauty blogger, yes? Last 8th May, Plaza Shah Alam held their annual beauty pageant,  Pencarian Wanita Melayu (PWM). At the finals, we got to see spectacular and colourful costume parades by contestants traditional wear of each state by Jabatan Kesenian Kebudayaan Malaysia, Batik from Istana Batik Plaza Shah Alam and the breathtaking attire designed by Bahari Asyek Plaza Shah Alam. One of the many Ramadhan buffet previews I have been to over the last few weeks happen to be the one at Empire Hotel Subang Jaya. My first time over at the hotel proved to be a fruitful one, as I got to enjoy not only their food, but the modern ambiance of the hotel itself.
