My first time over to Hilton Garden Inn Puchong, I was pleasantly surprised at the settings over at The Garden Grille, their all-day dining restaurant. The location itself was a bit of a maze though, but hey we all reached the venue safely. We were there to savour the Ramdan fares, aptly named “Selera Warisan Bonda”, with traditional Malay cuisines totally inspired by chefs’ mums’ unique recipes. Read on.

Ayam Masak Merah

Keeping up to the standards of Hilton hotels, this buffet dinner is part of the nationwide “Chup! Makan Dulu” promotion by Hilton hotels in Malaysia. Through this campaign, the brand wishes to remind Malaysians to take a break from their hectic day-to-day and enjoy quality time with their loved ones over a hearty meal at Hilton.

Arriving at the venue rather early, it was nice to see the food being laid out as we sit patiently waiting to dig in. Themed “Selera Warisan Bonda”, the buffet spread consists of more than 50 heritage kampung-style fare with flavours that are reminiscent of mum’s cooking.

On the appetiser menu are Aneka Kerabu, Aneka Ulam, Keropok and Green Salad to awake guests’ appetite. Then, proceed to the main courses with Ayam Masak Merah, Rendang Tok, Mee Rebus Kambing, Daging Masak Hitam, Cucur Udang and more.

Lastly, end the hearty experience with an assortment of desserts such as Cendol Durian, Malay Kuih, Bubur Pulut Hitam and Bandung Selasih. 

 

 

Kacang Pool Johor

The buffet at Hilton Garden Inn Puchong will run from 16th April until 9th May 2021, priced at RM88 nett per adult and RM44 nett per child (aged 6 – 12). The first two toddlers (aged 1 – 5) get to eat for free while the subsequent toddler will be charged the child price. A special 20% discount for selected credit card holders is applicable.
