Poolside Barbecue Buffet Dinner @ Furama Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur
It has been a long while since my last poolside dinner, so what better time to have one for a very good rate at Furama Bukit Bintang. Just last week, I was there to savour Furama Bukit Bintang's noms at their Poolside Barbecue Buffet Dinner. Nice view, good food, great drinks, it was a good evening out. Check out what we had below.

It was my first time over to Furama Bukit Bintang, but I must say, they seem to have a really strategic location. Centrally located near Kuala Lumpur's bustling Golden Triangle adjacent to Bukit Bintang, Berjaya Times Square and a short distance to Chinatown, Furama Bukit Bintang is also conveniently situated near the main shopping belts of Kuala Lumpur. Imbi monorail station is just a five-minute walk from this Kuala Lumpur hotel.

Sizzle Sizzle, burn |
The Poolside Barbecue Buffet Dinner @ Furama Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur goes for RM68 nett for adults, RM34 nett for senior citizens, and RM20 nett for children. Considering the ambiance, and the range of meat available, it's pretty appropriately priced if you asked me. We get to choose from seafood, prawns, fish, and even lamb cutlets, chicken to beef steaks and more! That's only the grilled part, as there's a whole lot more inside at the buffet spread.

More meat for me! |
For a meat lover like myself, it is indeed a welcome sight to see the raw chicken, sausages, lamb and beef being laid out for the picking. All one has to do is to pick and choose our favourite, and pass it to the chef to be barbecued on the spot. As it got darker, the view at the poolside got a whole lot better, perfect for that romantic dinner with your loved one.

Hainanese Chicken Rice Balls
On top of the delicious barbecued meat and food, during my evening there, I got to savour Furama's Historical Malacca cuisine as well, the Hainanese Chicken Rice Balls which goes for only RM10.90 nett per order which includes a complimentary cup of Crysanthemum Tea.

Incredibly tasty, the Hainanese Chicken Rice Balls did indeed taste like the ones I've tried out in Malacca. Each set comes with these cutesy round rice balls, which was enough to fill me up. The chicken is done just nice too, doused in soy sauce for that added flavour. The set comes with soup and Crysanthemum Tea and is available daily for lunch or dinner, so do remember to try them out.
Crush - Pure Cold Pressed Smoothie
 |
My drink that night, Jackfruit Twist |
Cold pressed juices, they are still popular now right? Well, to quench my thirst that night, I tried out this really unique Crush pure cold-pressed smoothie. Mine was the Jackfruit twist with jackfruit, pineapple and lemon thrown in the mix. What a refreshing end to a good meal out during my Poolside Barbecue Buffet Dinner @ Furama Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur!
Do check them out if you're in the vicinity. For more information, do check out their official website at

Gosh!!! My post is on a Korean buffet at half the price. But, of course, your prawns are bigger and the slices of meat are thicker. Hehehehehehe!!! I wouldn't mind trying the chicken rice balls since you say they're as good as the one you had in Malacca.
