Just last week or so, my wish came true, where I got to experience the CONNOR'S Experience! It was a whole tale in itself, from when my own personal driver (GrabCar for me) arrived at my doorstep to bring me over to the all-new happening dining spot in town, Nicsmann 1940s by Lewré, TREC, up till when I had my many pints of CONNOR'S Stout Porter along with superb dishes specially curated and infused with the drink. It was superb I tell you, SUPERB!

Part of the CONNOR'S Experience entails a free ride to and from each participating outlet. This brings us to the next part of my CONNOR's Experience, my favourite part. I love food, and having it with CONNOR'S Stout Porter is pretty much what I need after a long day at work. What's even better? Having it with friends of course! Our destination of choice that evening is Nicsmann 1940s By Lewré located at TREC, KL. It was my first time dining there, and my, the ambiance and decor really got me excited.

CONNOR’S-infused dishes paired perfectly with a pint of CONNOR’S Stout Porter 

With a great drink like CONNOR'S Stout Porter, you will be doing it a great injustice if we were to pair it with bar chips. Hence, we went ahead to try out some of CONNOR'S infused dishes specially prepared by the chef at Nicsmann 1940s by Lewré.  Did I mention I love meat? No prizes for guessing what type of cuisine we chose to have that lovely evening.

If you think this is a simple smoked duck dish, then you're gravely mistaken. Nicsmann 1940s by Lewré's Smoked Duck Breast with CONNOR'S Honey Glaze tasted anything but simple. A predominantly Chinese dish, the smoked duck breast is given a westernized twist with the CONNOR'S Honey Glaze.

Served with homemade mashed potato and fruit compote on the side, I loved how the sweetness from the raisins and peach goes so well with the sweetness of the sauce and savoury taste of the smoked duck. Down it with a gulp of CONNOR'S Stout Porter and everything is good again in this world. The pricing includes a pint of the good stuff, so you know you're well taken care of.

Another heavenly meaty dish, CONNOR'S Braised Lamb Ribs With Ratatouille comes served with 1 pint of CONNOR'S Stout Porter. The braised lamb ribs were so tender, I did not think it is lamb meat at all! Braised to perfection, the flavours is further enhanced after being infused with CONNOR'S Stout Porter. On the side, we had the traditional ratatouille and some of the nicer mashed potatoes I've had in a while.
