Baby Martin Driving His "New" Toy Car

It has been a while since I posted anything with regards to Baby Martin's development through the months. The last post I did of him was when he started to grow these cute baby teeth. (Baby Martin's First Teeth, No More Toothless Grins) Of course, numerous updates were done through my other social media platforms as I watched him grow up day by day. Now he has at least five upper teeth, and 3 lower teeth, with more to come.

What triggered me to write this post? Well, as the post title states, Baby Martin can now drive his own toy car, or at least move it forward and backwards. Just yesterday, our friendly neighbour brought over this very colourful toy car for Martin. It wasn't new, being used and all, but it was the thought that counted, and guess what? Baby Martin loved it to bits!

The car was rather tall in height. Nevertheless, this did not deter Baby Martin from leaning to one side to ensure at least one of his feet reaches the ground. With one leg, he could push himself forward and maneuver the car all round the living room. I can foresee many hours of play to be milked from this toy car.

I was actually surprised the neighbour no longer wanted this toy car, as I do not think it came by cheap when new. Anyway it was a blessing for us, as a quick clean up of the car, and it's as good as new. For now, Baby Martin is enjoying it to the max, even crying when we lift him up away from the car. Oh well, since your birthday is coming up in 9 days time, let this be one of your early birthday present ya Baby Martin!
