Jennifer Lopez Dance Again World Tour Malaysia 2012 @ Stadium Merdeka

So I had the opportunity to catch a world class performance by Jennifer Lopez in Stadium Merdeka last weekend thanks to Nuffnang and Xpax. One of those rare moments where I was actually excited to catch a concert even though the weather was wet the whole night. Being part of her Dance Again World Tour, Malaysians had the chance to catch the diva in action for the very first time on home soil.

Date:  2 December 2012
Venue: Stadium Merdeka - KL
Time:  8.00pm

Arriving at the concert venue Stadium Merdeka way early just so that I could safely park directly in front of the entrance, the weather was not too kind. It rained really heavily, and did not slow down until nearly 8pm when the gates were opened. Our seats were on the first floor, not the best view, but it had a shade which I appreciated since I was not keen to enjoy Jennifer Lopez's concert under the rain.

It was unfortunate though that our seats were so far from the stage, hence all my photos of the wonderful JLo performance could not make it here and I had to source the photos off the net. Do check out some of the photos of us that I did manage to take during Jennifer Lopez Dance Again World Tour Malaysia 2012 Concert.

It was Jennifer Lopez's first time performing in Malaysia, but I could say I really enjoyed her world class performance. It was flawless, the way she made her entry, to the perfectly choreographed moves by her and her dancers. It was a long time since I saw something this awesome.

Jennifer Lopez belted out her hits ranging from the radio-friendly songs from the earlier days of her career such as Love Don't Cost A Thing, Jenny From The Block and Waiting For Tonight to her latest hits On The Floor, Papi, I'm Into You and Dance Again. Each of her songs had the crowd swaying, dancing and moving from side to side. As for me, I was just lazing back in my seats enjoying the music.

Overall, it was a night well spent for me, and through all the wetness and rain, I left feeling really satisfied that I got to enjoy the diva's performance herself in Malaysia. Very much different from listening to Jennifer Lopez's songs on radio, watching her perform live was a really cool experience. Throughout the two hours concert, I could hardly catch any glitches, it was flawless.

  1. Good to see that the outfit restriction did not affect her appearance - I think she had several change in outfits right?
