So I had the opportunity to catch a world class performance by Jennifer Lopez in Stadium Merdeka last weekend thanks to Nuffnang and Xpax. One of those rare moments where I was actually excited to catch a concert even though the weather was wet the whole night. It was another party night, for the young and hot folks over at Aquasonic Club over at Sunway Pyramid. ( XPLAY 2012 Is Back In Town ! ) This time around, it was the XPLAY 2012 party event brought to us by XPax with some really cool female DJs spinning to the clubbers the whole night through.  Time to MUXIC With XPLAY 2012

Another party as the year comes to an end soon, and it's none other than XPLAY 2012 coming to KL this weekend, 1st December 2012 to be exact. Last year it was a series of parties bringing hot local, regional and even international acts to clubs in Sunway, JB, KK and Penang.

Let the festivities begin, as the nation celebrates Deepavali today nationwide. Even for those not celebrating, it's a public holiday today! "Malaysia's Own Oktoberfest", brought to us by the good folks from Carlsberg, was founded as a yearly event in 2011 with an aim to deliver Malaysians an authentic sample of this great Bavarian tradition, albeit with some uniquely local twists. Tonight's the first time I'm attending an Oktoberfest event thanks to GAB. I just cannot remember why, but I totally missed all the Oktoberfest gatherings last year. Two hundred beer lovers gathered tonight to celebrate the launch of GAB's Oktoberfest at The Social, Publika. Time really flies, I still remember vividly last year's Guinness Arthur's Day media launch , with the music, food, and Guinness Draught. There I was again on the 23rd of August to see this year's launching over at Studio Lounge, Tropicana City Mall. Going there after work to unwind with lots of Guinness seemed like a pretty good idea. Testosterone filled shooting action with a star studded cast, that pretty much sums up The Expendables 2 screening which I had the opportunity to catch last night over at GSC Midvalley courtesy of Chilla Cup . If you have caught the first installment back in 2010, this one is more or less the same. John Carter, before catching this movie screening tonight, I've heard some good things about it. The movie is slotted to come out in our cinemas this 8th March 2012 . Underworld the movie series has always been my favourite, and now with Underworld: Awakening in the cinemas I did not hesitate to catch this 4th installment of Underworld. This time, we decided to catch it in 3D in hopes of catching all the action in full 3D glory. Underworld Awakening 2012 Picking up where the last Underworld movie left off, we see Kate Beckinsale reprising her role as Selene, the vampire with superior strength, speed and agility than the average vampire sending everything that comes in her way to oblivion. This time around, the Vampires on top of being in war with the Lycans have to deal with the Humans which have come to know of their existence and are hell-bent on sending the two species into extinction. Planning an escape to never never land with her lover Michael the hybrid , a turn of events sent Serene into a 12 year slumber in a cryogenic chamber. It's a brand new year 2012 today , where everyone's wishing each other a Happy New Year and happy holidays. Last night, like most people every New Year Eve, I went to join the masses for some countdown fireworks, this time over at Queensbay Mall in Penang. The Queensbay Mall Countdown Fireworks was a rather low key event, with some performances in the mall and fireworks at midnight, but without a stage or a countdown.
