Nuffnang Asahi Bloggers Gathering @ Marini's On 57

Have you been to the latest rooftop bar in town yet? Marini's On 57 located just beside KLCC, on the 57th floor of Tower 3 KLCC to be exact is the latest hip and happening spot to be seen at. I had the opportunity to dine there with fellow bloggers thanks to Nuffnang and Asahi last weekend.

Now it was my first time sitting the lift straight up to the 57th floor, and the view that greeted me the moment I went into Marini's On 57 was breathtaking to say the least. I was quite late though, and it seemed that everyone had already have their fair share of food before I arrived. Nevertheless, I managed to get some delicious pizzas, some finger food, fries and those sinful desserts.

The attendees were really cool, as it comprised of Nuffnangers, and Nuffies with lots of Asahi beer to quench our thirst. Not that beer can actually quench my thirst, but I do appreciate the chance to catch up with quite a number of new faces, mostly young pretty ladies. My, they were so young I thought I was having dinner with underaged ladies, but they were really friendly and all.

The Asahi beer had a certain effect on us, as the mood became really jovial and cheery. Marini's On 57 had this unique view where there was a section we ate at, had an open view of the sky. Sitting o the sofa looking outwards, we got to have a really close view of the two KLCC towers. Beautiful view indeed.

I could just come back here for the view, as it was breathtaking. Chatting with all the Nuffnang bloggers there was fun too, but as there were way more ladies than guys that night, I was pretty overwhelmed, and did not move around too much. It was good to see Ernest, Jessy, and Daniel there though as they were familiar faces I'm used to.

As I was pretty late to arrive, partially due to my carelessness of trying to locate KLCC Tower 3 by driving in circles, I had limited opportunities to snap photos of the food. I ended up parking inside KLCC, and walking to Tower 3 anyway. Check out some photos I took of the food we had that night at the Nuffnang Asahi Bloggers Gathering.

The desserts and pizzas did go well with Asahi beer as we downed cups after cups of that smooth liquid. Beaming with delight, we stayed on as the crowd began pouring in when the night progressed on. Everyone had so much to share be it about blogging, studies, work or life in general.

Overall it was a good night out, one which I appreciated as on top of the Asahi Beers and food, I had the opportunity to pass out more of my blogger name card and get to know more new fellow Nuffnang bloggers. The blogging circle is so huge in KL itself that I don't think it's even possible to get to know every blogger here. Thanks again to Nuffnang and Asahi for a good night over at Marini's On 57.
