Lion Dance At Centre Court Midvalley Megamall

Tong Tong Tong Chiang! The sound from the drums were deafening at around 2pm today at Midvalley Megamall. There was a lion dance troupe performing at the centre court, the crowd was already very big by the time I reached. Hence I could not get a nice shot, but I tried my best to squeeze in.

Lion dance in action

Midvalley Megamall's chinese new year decoration this year was red themed. Red, red and red everywhere. The lion dance really liven up the atmosphere of the shopping mall, lifting everybody's shopping spirits. The whole lion dance took a good 25 minutes. Check out the pictures below of the crowd.

Loud drums for the CNY spirit!

Well that's about all guy and girls. Just wanted to share what I experienced today at Midvalley. I think they will have this lion dance everyday until chinese new year. Oh, and if you want some free mandarin oranges, be sure to wait till the lions finish dancing then collect from their mouths.
