It was a night of exclusivity and grandeur, with fitting food and wonderful drinks. I had the opportunity to attend launch of The Macallan Rare Cask at Ruyi & Lyn, Bangsar Shopping Center, which was hosted by Nadia Heng together with the presense of Edrington’s Brand Trainer, Keith Nair. It was a night of good fun out with bloggers and friends. The sound of clinking glasses encompassed the room and bonds of friendship sealed at the most recent whisky trail hosted by Scotland’s finest single malt Scotch whisky, Glenmorangie at Hacha Mecha Gastropub Kuala Lumpur. It was a night of alcoholic indulgence over some great food prepared by Tai Thong to be paired with FIFTYSIX DEGREES Whisky. Six days ago, history was made on 12 June 2015 by The Glenlivet for clocking in the highest price ever paid for a single bottle of single malt whisky in Malaysia at a price tag of RM96,000. Guess what, I was there to witness the exhilaration, the happy faces, and the flustered faces after a night of good whisky and food. All's good, do read on for what happened that night.
