Sango Japanese Restaurant @ Crystal Crowne Hotel, Petaling Jaya My first time dining over at Sango Japanese Restaurant, and I'm already liking the Japanese fares there. One of my favourite spot to have some honest to goodness western cuisine would be Outback Steakhouse. There I was again the other day at the Nu Sentral outlet to savour their new lunch fares, available from Monday to Friday, 11:30 am till 3 pm. Did you know there's a Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant inside Bangsar Shopping Centre? Well I didn't, and I was delighted to be able to drop by to taste their fares recently. Interestingly, I've passed Jalan Ceylon numerous times, but seem to have missed this Italian restaurant until recently where I had the opportunity to dine there for lunch courtesy of the good folks from The Entertainer. Just last week, I had the opportunity to drop by The Elite Seafood Restaurant, where they open their doors to diners in Klang Valley after an extensive round of refurbishment and rebranding. So I've read a couple of reviews from friends on this spot in Kota Kemuning, serving some nice Penang food. Aptly called the Gurney Delight Cafe, derived from Gurney drive in Penang I suppose. The other day, my colleagues and I decided to drop by one of the newer restaurants in Citta Mall for lunch. Meatworks Restaurant, the name itself brings forth images of meaty delights, which was close to what we had that afternoon. Driving all the way out to Taman Bukit Maluri in Kepong this afternoon, my colleagues and I decided to drop by Tuck Kee Restaurant. I was told they were famous for their dim sums. Bad Boy Cooks, now that's a pretty catchy name, especially when the tagline for this restaurant is "Bad Boy Cooks Real Food" . It was my first time over to this eatery, as well as my first time to the pretty Oasis Ara Damansara area. BBQ Chicken, a rather generic name for a restaurant, located inside Wangsa Walk Mall in Wangsa Maju has a unique way of cooking their chickens. All chicken dishes served from BBQ Chicken is cooked using 100% olive oil . Now this was rather interesting since we all know olive oils are used really sparingly due to its cost, and to deep fry a chicken, BBQ Chicken had to use a lot, hence the slightly higher price. It's supposed to be really healthy oil though. TGIF! Thank God it's Friday again! Today during my lunch break, which was longer than usual due to Friday prayers, I joint my colleagues for a round of bowling. The venue was at Wangsa Walk Mall . They call the bowling alley "Wangsa Bowl". The place is fairly new, so the atmosphere and colours are still vibrant. Wangsa Bowl It was fun, especially when playing with colleagues. We took up a total of 5 lanes , and the time just flew by. Before we knew it, it was time to rush back to work.
