Underworld the movie series has always been my favourite, and now with Underworld: Awakening in the cinemas I did not hesitate to catch this 4th installment of Underworld. This time, we decided to catch it in 3D in hopes of catching all the action in full 3D glory. Underworld Awakening 2012 Picking up where the last Underworld movie left off, we see Kate Beckinsale reprising her role as Selene, the vampire with superior strength, speed and agility than the average vampire sending everything that comes in her way to oblivion. This time around, the Vampires on top of being in war with the Lycans have to deal with the Humans which have come to know of their existence and are hell-bent on sending the two species into extinction. Planning an escape to never never land with her lover Michael the hybrid , a turn of events sent Serene into a 12 year slumber in a cryogenic chamber.
