Graze @ Hilton Kuala Lumpur
It has been a while since I was last back at Hilton Kuala Lumpur, this time around to savour some really nice European cuisine at Graze, the modern European brasserie. Recently upgraded, Graze came off as being really comfortable and fresh outlook, from the outlet setting to the service style and most importantly the menu choices. Diners’ favourites were still on the menu with good hearty high quality European cuisine to be found inside as well!. Read on for some pics on what they have to offer.

Serving German, French and Italian Cuisine
Amongst other European dishes, the focus of Graze is on German, French and Italian cuisine. The friendly native German Chef Darrius Seitfudem, Chef de Cuisine of Hilton Kuala Lumpur, brings to life the food served by the culinary team in Graze. The casual non-pretentious layout of the outlet and artsy black and white ortraits of Europe’s famous landmarks on the walls did set the mood for a relaxed brasserie dining experience.

We were there that evening to savour Graze’s Signature11, eleven dishes that are big in taste, thoughtfully presented and tastes as good as it looks. Yes, 11 dishes in one sitting, pretty sweet! Chef Darrius created the Signature11, specially curated menu consisting of the usual appetisers, soup, mains and even dessert. Good stuff!

Appetizers
It was a media preview that evening, so do check out the pictures I managed to capture of the food. We kicked off with appetisers in the form of the Salmon Tartare, Foei Gras and Chicken Liver Parfait, and Graze’s Homemade Linguine Pasta. What a great start, with my personal favourite being the Salmon Tartare, consisting of lots of Scottish Salmon, and the Home Made Linguine Pasta which came served with sautéed girlies, mushroom cream and chives.

Soup
A heartwarming dish, the Provencal Fish Soup was served next. A spicy fish soup, it has a hint of spiciness in it, served with rouille, croutons and gruyere cheese. The cheese inside the soup brought out a whole lot of new flavours.

Bring forth the Mains!
Four main dishes in a row, all served in nice fine dish-dish portions. The first, the Vienna Schnnitzel came off tasting really good. The classic Austrian veal loin is breaded then pan fried, Served with buttered vegetables, pan fried potatoes and wild mushroom sauce, it is a good start for the mains.

We had the Veal Osso Bucco as well, slow braised Italian veal shank. The dish came served with Milanese risotto, gremolata and crispy sage. Oh, don’t forget the yummy Squid Ink Gnocchi, served with clams, prawns, scallops, seafood butter sauce, samphire and parsley.

More seafood came in the form of the Baked Scottish Loch Fyne Salmon Fillet. Seasoned with sea salt and fresh lemon zest, served with colcannon and dill cream, personally I felt such good fish tasted great on its own! One of my favourite dish for the evening.

Dessert
Don’t forget the dessert! For dessert in Graze, we got to try out three separate forms of sweetness, from the Valrhona Chocolate Soufflé, to the Graze Tiramisu and Kaiserchmarrn (sautéed shredded pancake with caramelised apple, and vanilla ice cream).

Graze at Hilton Kuala Lumpur certainly impressed.
Where's the steak? You only had that little piece of veal. The name conjures images of grazing grounds...and cows.
