It was a weekend of high anticipation as I drove my way to Bandar Mahkota Cheras to check out the latest showhome unveil. Lion Property Launches H.O.T Plan & 'The Vantage 2' New Superlink Showhome @ Bandar Mahkota Cheras earlier this month, a special weekend open to public where we get to experience luxury at its finest. I was there, and it was good. Check out my writeup below on the Vantage show homes which we were given a tour of, as well as the new Vantage 2 Superlink Showhome.

Upon reaching the area, the festivities were already underway. With on-going fun activities, food trucks, amazing deals and offers, visitors to the Vantage Special Weekend had it good! For those who booked a unit of the Premiumlink during that special weekend, they were rewarded with a wheel spin, to win a trip to their lucky holiday destinations, as well as further extra rebates. As for me, I was greeted by the warm staffs, to be brought on a tour of both The Vantage 40'x65' PremiumLink and The Vantage 2 26'x80' Superlink Show Homes.

The Vantage Premiumlink 40' x 65' is a freehold 2-storey luxurious home with a grand 40 feet frontage, 5+1 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The design itself wow'ed me, as I've never actually seen a house this wide. 40 feet is so wide it actually rivals large Semi-Ds and baby bungalows. In fact, the space offered is touted to be able to cater for a family of three generations!

I'm intrigued by the vast practical space for additional family area everywhere. Downstairs itself was so wide, it felt like being in a Semi-D or a baby bungalow. The spacious private courtyard is another luxury on its own, but I did somehow feel some owners may actually convert it into another room (the horror!). All Type A, B and C of The Vantage will have a large car porch with 2 adjacent parking bays. Now that's a welcome sight, for my darling cars.

Going to the second floor of The Vantage Premium Link Showhomes, I wish it was my home instead. With generous space to create walk-in wardrobes, and bathrooms attached to every room, this is a dream come true for many. Even the kids had so much space in their bedrooms to literally run about!

Next we walked over to Type C of The Vantage PremiumLink showhomes, an almost similar design minus the private courtyard. Due to the lack of a courtyard, the ground floor space was even wider than usual, giving a sense of space everywhere we walked. Large space, wide frontage, if you're talking about lifestyle aspirations, nothing gets closer than this.

Love the colour co-ordination, a sense of class

Same width, a grand 40 feet, there was just so much space in the living room that I had to take extra effort to walk from one end to the other. I love the colour used though, kudos to the interior designer. It calmed the nerves down, coupled with the cooling air conditioned, I would expect sales to be closed by the agents on the spot the moment would-be buyers enter these show homes.

I was told this is the second bedroom, but it's huge enough to be a master bedroom instead

The whole area of The Vantage will be made up of a community of superlink homes, townvillas, semi-detached homes and premiumlink homes with a well-designed linear park at the highest point of the entire township. Do you know what that means? These almost completed units of The Vantage would be the best value to buy now, as bigger homes are being built in subsequent phases.

Before we proceed to our tour of The Vantage 2 New Superlink Showhomes, a short space has to be given to this superb LION H.O.T Plan. What is it? All the luxuries of a Semi-D in a Superlink Terrace, that's the tagline, and it's a fact indeed. Entering The Vantage 2 show home felt like entering a semi-D, with a feeling of space and all. A unique class of its own, it's design is different from the other show homes, with a longer back, due to it's 26' x 80' measurements.

Again, kudos to the interior designer, giving The Vantage 2 a modern contemporary look complete with grey tone colour scheme, and large bold words on the walls. For a family man like myself, I appreciate the fact there's a second living room on the second floor, where the kids can go and play while us adults have our discussions in the main living room downstairs. Really good design.
