My first time over at Silka Maytower Hotel & Serviced Residences proofed to be a fruitful affair, being there for their 'Juadah Tradisi Kampung' Ramadhan Buffet Preview last week or so. They will be having the special month-long festive buffet dinner beginning from June 30th to July 27th 2014.

Aptly named 'Juadah Tradisi Kampung', the festive buffet dinner is made available annually in conjunction with the Ramadhan celebrations. Offering a wide spread of more than 100 types of dishes, from mouthwatering appetizers to tantalizing main courses and yummy desserts, it should satisfy most if not all diners.

Specially prepared by the passionate Chefs of La Maison Restaurant, the cultural buffet spread offered traditional Malay dishes, from the Kambing Bakar ala Percik, Pecal Desa, Kerabu Udang Pucuk Pegaga, Ayam Masak Briyani, Ekor Lembu Asam Pedas, Sambal Udang Petai and many more. I must give a noteworthy mention on their very nice Sambal Udang Petai, where huge tiger prawns were used.

To further fulfill the discerning taste buds of hotel guests, there will be seven different types of menu dishes available weekly. In a nutshell, there will be some variations in dishes from day to day, so don't worry about coming back again the next day and seeing the same dishes again.

'Juadah Tradisi Kampung' is available from June 30 to July 27, from 6.30pm onwards and is priced at RM78++ per adult, RM30++ per child while senior citizens get to enjoy the meal at 50% discount off the adult rate.
