It was a rather exciting affair today with Kodawari Menya Udon & Tempura holding their grand opening over at 1 Mont Kiara with members of the media and guest all dressed in red. Local celebrities were present too, with the likes of Datin Sofia Jane, Daphne Iking, Raja Atilia, Julie Woon, Vanidah Imran, Nancie Foo and Fancy Goh gracing the event. In recent times there have been a sudden increase in Japanese restaurants, mainly due to the increase in awareness by the general public on the intricacies of Japanese cuisine. Fast forward, a new outlet dedicated solely to preparing and serving good Japanese udon have been opened recently in Midvalley Megamall.
