So there I was up at Avenue K Rooftop for the Tiger Bites Street Food Festival last weekend. Held way up on a roof in the heart of town came an extraordinary congregation of street food masterchefs for the conclusion of Tiger Bites. A couple of months back, I had the opportunity to join an 18-car convoy on a two-day street food trail to Ipoh and Penang for an unconventional gastronomic experience organized by Tiger Beer (#TigerBites) . Hailing from Air Itam, Penang myself, I know too well the local Penang delicacies that the area has to offer, with the Assam Laksa and Char Kuey Teow topping the list of must tries. Fast forward, a new outlet dedicated solely to preparing and serving good Japanese udon have been opened recently in Midvalley Megamall.
