In recent times there have been a sudden increase in Japanese restaurants, mainly due to the increase in awareness by the general public on the intricacies of Japanese cuisine. Fast forward, a new outlet dedicated solely to preparing and serving good Japanese udon have been opened recently in Midvalley Megamall. Being one of the prominent Chinese Restaurant located in KLCC, Spring Garden Restaurant , a subsidiary of Tai Thong Group, has to be one of the must-go to spots if you're looking for good chinese cuisine. The other day I was at Tropicana City Mall to catch the premiere screening of The Descendants when I dropped by this simple restaurant just beside the cinema on the 2nd floor. The name itself intrigued me, Igentis with the mandarin words which roughly translates to "Ice Shop" if I'm not mistaken. The last time I had some healthy dishes from this chain was back in May last year at Tang Shifu 's branch in 1 Utama. ( Tang Shifu Restaurant 1 Utama ) This round, I was with Janice at the KL Festival City Mall when we spotted their newly opened outlet there. This time however, the display name has been changed to Taang Shifu with the additional 'a'. I'm not exactly sure why the change in shop name.
