The Fashion Bloomers - A Dress For Janice

Image
Frankly speaking, I've not been very savvy over the online shopping phenomena which is currently the rage. Fashion clothing are in. Where else can you get the perfect clothing with an affordable price tag if not through online boutiques? Recently Janice wanted to get a dress, where she actually browsed through this new fashion portal (The Fashion Bloomers).   The Fashion Bloomers

Keelung Miao Kou Night Market Taiwan

Image
While browsing through my photos, I saw a couple of nice Taiwan food photos when Janice and I were in Taiwan last year which I have yet to share here. It was Day 3 of our Taiwan trip when we dropped by this famous night market in Keelung district. Better known as Keelung Miao Kou Night Market , the crowd there was huge with food available everywhere.  Keelung Miao Kou Night Market Taiwan " Keelung’s Miaokou Night Market is famous throughout Taiwan for its large selection of food.  The night market is easily accessible on foot for most travelers arriving from other cities. From the Keelung railway station walk east straight along the street following the harbor in the direction of the Keelung Harbor Bureau (identifiable at night by its large orange neon sign. The night market is roughly one block from the point where you cross a freeway overpass." Source: Wikitravel I was told the crowd that night was lesser than usual due to a slight shower before we arrived I...

The Mix Holiday Inn Glenmarie Valentine's Day Set

Image
The Mix is this rather exclusive restaurant tucked away in the vicinity of Holiday Inn Glenmarie which serves good food amidst a bar like atmosphere with a live band every night to entertain its patrons.  I was privileged to be invited to try out their Valentine's Set Menu ahead of Valentine's day this coming 14th February. Spring Garden Chinese Restaurant KLCC

Image
The other day, I happened to be at Suria KLCC waiting for Janice to finish work so the decision was to have dinner in KLCC. Being one of the few Chinese Restaurants in KLCC, we decided do dine in Spring Garden Restaurant , a subsidiary of Tai Thong Group over on the 4th floor of KLCC. Spring Garden Suria KLCC Spring Garden Suria KLCC Lot 413, 4th Floor Suria KLCC  Kuala Lumpur Tel: +603-21669881 Spring Garden KLCC decor The decor was pretty simple, but we knew the price wouldn't be as simple, as any restaurants in KLCC were rather pricey to begin with. Since it was our first time dining here, we hoped that the food was good. Restaurant Menu The current ongoing daily dinner dim sum promotion Spring Garden was having this daily dinner dim sum promotion of 50% off for any dim sums off the menu from 5pm - 8pm so we decided to order some dim sums to go with our main dishes. #1 Chicken and shrimp dumpling - RM4.40 after 50% discount #2 Cryst...

Taiwan Food Part 2

Image
Following up on the first part of Janice's collage of Taiwan food ( Taiwan Food Part 1 ), here will be part two with more food. Of course, most of the photos only showcase her as she's the main star! I'm guilty of having most of the Taiwan sausages during the whole trip though. The sausages there are fatter and bigger than the ones we have over here, hence my love for it. #1

Taiwan Food Part 1

The past week have been spent going around Taiwan and I must say there are a couple of things that make Taiwan a great place to be. Food , clothes and nature, these three things made my first trip to Taiwan really memorable. Janice with her food during one of her shopping spree

Pantai Ria Restaurant Port Dickson

Image
Today, I was over at Port Dickson , one of the few times I actually dropped by this part of Malaysia. This time I'm here for my pre-wedding photoshoot. It was 3pm, and we have not had our lunch yet, the first chinese restaurant we headed to was closed. Our seasoned photographer then suggested this Pantai Ria Restaurant for a quick tea/lunch break. Pantai Ria Restaurant Restoran Pantai Ria‎ 4/223 Jalan Pantai 71050 Port Dickson 06-6625122 View Larger Map The first thing that caught my attention was the word "Muslim Seafood" printed on its banner. It got me thinking on the reason why they chose to go halal. The owner is a chinese muslim? Or probably they figured by going halal, there would be more customers. Anyway that's secondary, because I was more interested in the quality of the food. A signboard by the main road pointing the way Clean and tidy environment Since there were four of us, I went ahead to order four dishes . The settings and menu is ...
