INTI Edge Festival at Redeveloped City Campus

The INTI International College Subang (IICS) is currently undergoing a rather major reconstruction and upgrading works following an RM40 million investment to redevelop the campus. This post shall serve as a writeup on the final stages of the upgrading as well as the upcoming INTI Edge Festival to be held this coming 20th to 23rd February 2013.

Embodying the concept of a cosmopolitan learning environment, with emphasis on openness and community, IICS will have capacity for 7,000 students from Malaysia and across the globe. Amenities will include a new three-storey building housing a 350-seat auditorium that will serve as an impressive venue for presentations by local and international speakers as well as ample learning spaces. It will also house INTI’s new School of Art & Design complete with a design gallery, studios, Macintosh and Autocad labs, materials library and design centre.

The upcoming INTI Edge Festival will focus on showcasing the new environment. Featuring  insightful workshops, competitions, celebrity appearances and international cuisines for guests to feast on, it would be an exciting affair indeed. These insightful workshops and activities stay true to INTI’s efforts in instilling internationalisation, innovation and individualisation into our programs and curriculum.

From YouTube sensations JinnyBoy TV to celebrity DJs Patricia K and Joey G, INTI will bring in stars to join the celebrations at INTI Edge Festival.

“Our commitment is to provide an environment which focuses on student-centred learning to adapt pedagogical approaches to students’ learning styles. We harness the latest technology available to deliver effective learning outcomes and that includes the ample resources that will come with the new facilities,” said Dr Dominic Szambowski, President of IICS.

A new campus plaza will provide abundant space for outdoor meetings and open-air events as well as social and recreational activities to augment well-rounded personal development. Food and beverage outlets serving a variety of local and international fare will be accessible to INTI’s students, staff and visitors.   1. I am not too sure about Inti Subang but I certainly know a lot about Inti Penang as I was studying my foundation and part of my degree there >_<
